All year round – the Tatton Garden Society will do guided walks by arrangement around the Lovell Quinta Arboretum behind the pub. Cost £5 per person which includes the entrance fee of £2.50. The walk takes one and a half hours. You can then enjoy tea, coffee, lunch or afternoon tea at the Swettenham Arms for the perfect morning or afternoon. Book directly with the Tatton Garden Society on 01565 831981 or firstname.lastname@example.org. The Arboreturm, created by Sir. Bernard Lovell, is looking lovely at the moment with autumn colours but is gorgeous all year. There are currently swans on the lake!
From April: vintage afternoon tea. Come and Join us for a quintessential British tradition – a delicious, mouth watering afternoon tea, £17.95 per person. We offer these Mon – Sat (note not Sundays) and they must be booked and paid for in advance and for a minimum of four people. (This is to avoid waste in the kitchen as the chef cannot make a batch of scones and cakes for just two people – especially if no-one turns up and everything has to go in the bin!) The afternoon tea we offer is quite exceptional, we also cater for gluten free options. We do of course cater for large parties wanting a specific event and requiring afternoon tea, please discuss availability with our manager.
25th September – air cooled classic meet. Casual meet, hotdogs available. This is the last aircooled meet of the year.
