  • Stopped here for lunch on our way for a few days’ break in the Peak District, beautiful location, lovely gardens and internal decor, plus dog friendly which is why we stopped here. Good menu choice and polite efficient staff.

  • Just returned from a lovely lunch with friends. The pub is spotless and very welcoming. All staff without exception were polite, helpful and happy. The food was delightful. There were five of us and everyone enjoyed their food. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our visit and would certainly return without hesitation.

  • Enjoyed a walk followed by Sunday lunch at the pub. Ordered a small roast which was delicious and a reasonable size portion. A busy pub so be prepared for a short wait.

  • We stumbled upon this beautiful pub whilst out and about on a bike ride. We’re glad we did because it was a very welcoming place. We found a cosy corner table and enjoyed an evening meal here. Good ales on too. Service friendly and very efficient. Couldn’t fault our experience here. Would definitely revisit if in the area again and would recommend without hesitation.
