  • Just to say we had an excellent day and really enjoyed a lovely meal, beautifully served.  The service was wonderful and everyone made us feel welcome.  We were particularly appreciative of the high level of efficiency and professionalism amongst such young staff and are mindful of the fact that a lot goes on in the background to make the day go smoothly and for our enjoyment which we do not see. We are not regular customers but as trueborn Swettenham folk really enjoy coming home and it being so worthwhile.  We will see you next year.

  • First visit and def won’t be the last. The staff are friendly and happy. Very clean and the food was amazing, best steak I’ve had in a long time, cooked just how I asked. Hope to return soon, I will be telling everyone about this hidden gem.

  • We had a fabulous Rotary President’s night at the Arms and I would recommend it as a venue for anyone who is considering a special function whether it is for work or a social occasion. We had over 50 diners who were all served promptly with piping hot and delicious food by courteous and friendly staff. All in all it was a great evening and we will certainly be back to run more functions at the Swettenham Arms.

  • Mothering Sunday lunch. Excellent choices all served by a very pleasant waiting staff of young ladies . We dined in the Lovell Suite , what a super light room. The meal was superb, and the place was busy.

  • We stumbled upon this beautiful pub whilst out and about on a bike ride. We’re glad we did because it was a very welcoming place. We found a cosy corner table and enjoyed an evening meal here. Good ales on too. Service friendly and very efficient. Couldn’t fault our experience here. Would definitely revisit if in the area again and would recommend without hesitation.
