Mothering Sunday lunch. Excellent choices all served by a very pleasant waiting staff of young ladies . We dined in the Lovell Suite , what a super light room. The meal was superb, and the place was busy.

We went in February on a Thursday night, when the offer was on, very busy but no undue wait. Good selection of beers, wines on menu and excellent food. Even on full price the menu is good value for money and would definitely go back, so one to add to your list to explore

Visited as a family to celebration a father and son’s birthdays with other family members. It was a great meal. The host could not have been more welcoming, felt special. Will certainly be back.

Very busy on this visit as part of a large group. Staff welcoming. We had a longer than usual wait but the food was excellent when it arrived.

Can’t praise highly enough. From the warm greeting of the manager, to the lovely waitress who got some cushions for my friend’s leg (recently broken) to the fabulous food it was all superb. The Lovell suite is an ideal setting for a summer event as with the French doors open the smell of the lavender meadow wafts in. Thank you all for a brilliant evening!

First visit and def won’t be the last. The staff are friendly and happy. Very clean and the food was amazing, best steak I’ve had in a long time, cooked just how I asked. Hope to return soon, I will be telling everyone about this hidden gem.
