Let your children and their imaginations run free in safe natural country surroundings. The Quinta Arboretum & Nature reserve offers 30 acres of beautiful open space, wooded areas, ponds and lakes for all the family to enjoy. There are 5000 species of trees as well as a variety of wild animals including Muntjac deer, rare butterflies and scores of hares, squirrels and rabbits.

And after a healthy walk in the peaceful open spaces of the arboretum why not treat yourselves to healthy home cooked food at the Swettenham Arms. No need for junk food, we serve only the best traditionally prepared food from fresh local produce. Children are welcome and will be served the same high standard of food as the adults who accompany them.

We ask that all visitors to the arboretum keep dogs on leads and generally respect the area which is a lifetimes work. Visitors will find an honesty box at the gate and are asked to pay a contribution of £2.00 which helps towards the upkeep of this wildlife sanctuary.
