The Swettenham Arms is located just 4 miles from junction 18 of the M6. Situated in the tranquil village of Swettenham, which nestles in the beautiful South Cheshire countryside between the towns of Holmes Chapel and Congleton.

This award winning, traditional 16th century inn was completed with the addition of The Lovell Suite in 1999, and has since achieved an excellent reputation for Functions and Conference Events. The following are some of the awards won by The Swettenham Arms:

The Lovell Suite has been tastefully decorated to incorporate the traditionalism of the Swettenham Arms and the modern day services we all require. If your event is for business or pleasure the surroundings are sure to please. The Lovell Suite is situated on the ground floor enabling easy access from the ample car park. With its own toilet facilities and bar the Lovell Suite provides a self-contained area to hold your event, whilst only being a short distance from the main restaurant and bar areas. French doors lead to a private patio and lawned area overlooking a Lavender and Sunflower Field, lying adjacent to the Arboretum and Nature Reserve, a life long project of Sir Bernard Lovell, after whom the suite is named

The Lovell Suite can be arranged to any layout you require, but as a guide the following maximum numbers apply to the layouts:

The Lovell Suite measures approximately 19m x 7.8m and is well equipped with electrical sockets, extension cables, and ISDN point and telephone lines.

All delegates are provided with mineral water, cordials, mints and sweets plus A4 pads and pens.

ROOM HIRE
Should you not require the day delegate rate the following room hire rates apply. Lunch can be arranged for your party along with refreshments and equipment.

FULL DAY (9.00am - 5.00pm) £400.00

HALF DAY (9.00am - 1.OOpm) £250.00 or (1.30pm - 5.OOpm) £250.00
or (5.30pm - midnight) £150.00

Tea or Coffee £1.95 per serving. Mineral Water £3.00 per bottle.

If you would prefer to eat from the restaurant menu we would be delighted to make a reservation for you. Our extensive menus change regularly, so we would send you sample menus on your request.

Alternatively, should you require a set luncheon menu we have a wide selection of dishes on our banqueting selection of menus.

We have an arrangement with nearby Cranage Hall, which is just over 3 miles away. This is equivalent to a 4 star hotel and transport can be arranged. The cost per room, including breakfast and full use of their extensive leisure facilities, is £85 for a double and £75 for a single. We can also recommend nearby B&Bs at cosy farmhouses.
